Minolta Hi-matic F

This is a smaller and cheaper version of the famous Hi-matic E, marketed in 1972. It has an f2.7 38mm Rokkor lens that is smaller than the f1.7 Rokkor from Hi-matic E, thus it permitted the Minolta engineers to produce a smaller body.
The camera is excellent, small and lightweight, with an accurate lightmeter, a clear rangefinder and a very capable lens. The rangefinder permits accurate focusing of objects at 0.9m.
The camera needed 2 x 1.35V type 640 Mercury batteries that are discontinued. I' ve put 2 pieces of hearing aids batteries (zinc - air 1.4V) stuck with a lot of aluminum foil to fit into and now works fine.
My camera has a dented filter thread and engravings from the previous owner.

Sample photos, scanned from the lab and warmed up a bit in Lr3
