More from the Samsung Rocas 200

Some more from the Fuji APS 200 ASA film.

Samsung Rocas 200

Fully automatic APS compact with a 28-60mm zoom (35-70 equivalent for 135 film)
It has an LCD screen with some mode selections for flash and portrait/landscape/auto mode plus titles and dates for film. Features fuzzy logic AF focusing system. But the sleek design and ease of use did not bring nice photos. All are of poor quality and the camera was not able to focus on a subject at a distance more than 10 meters. 2 shots before the end of the film the battery was drained out.
Overall an attractive but useless camera!

Steinheil folder camera

Did not find information on this one. It's a Steinheil German folder camera from Nazi times perhaps.
Apertures are from 6.6 to 32 and speeds are 1/100, 50, 25, B and T. It's in good shape and works fine. Takes 120 film for 8 6x9 pictures.

More from the Beirette

Film was a no name 100 ASA

Beirette VSN from Communist DDR

The Beirette VSN is a Point'n'Shoot camera from East Germany. It has only 1/125, 60, 30 and B speeds and apertures from 2.8 to 22. Lens is a Meritar 40mm. Very light, made of plastic and thin aluminum. I have two of them, one cost me 5 euros the other 10.
Needs an accurate estimate of the subject distance, the position of the shutter button nakes it difficult for steady shots. There are no parallax marks in the viewfinder.

Kodak Disposable Camera

It cost me 1 euro from a junkee street seller. The film was mid roll and there were signs that the camera was opened. Anyway I finished the roll, and had it developed.
The film had a blue cast and light leaks in the section where the camera was opened.
