Keystone 590PD AF, a low quality camera.

This Keystone 590PD AF camera came as a gift with the Lubitel 2 I bought for 4 euros in the street.
It is a simple point and shoot camera. that takes pictures automatically.

I've put a roll Fuji 100 ASA and the pictures came out average, not very sharp, not very contrasty, the camera cannot focus close for portrait shots.

Konica C35AF the first autofocus camera

This is the first autofocus camera. It has a central point auto focus and a strange indication to the side of the lens. Only after taking the picture a pointer moves and indicates the distance selected by the camera.
Apertures start from 2.8 and shutter speeds selected by the camera are only 3, 1/60th, 1/125th and 1/250th sec.
I don't remember paying more than 2 euros for the camera. An exact copy of the Konica C35AF is my Russian Elicon 35C, but this one is a zone focus camera.

Coronet Twelve-20, an old cheap toy.

This is a camera from the fifties. Looks like a TLR but it isn't. There is no aperture control nor shutter speeds. A small lever changes focusing from near to distant objects. Takes 120 or 620 film.
The box is made of carton with no screws. I cannot dismantle the camera to clean it, I can't check the focusing either. The Coronet Twelve-20 is just a cheap simple toy camera.

Olympus Go100, some more...

Some more from the 100 ASA Fuji film.
The Olympus Go100 delivered nice photos.

Olympus Go100, shoot wide and fast.

This is a simple point and shoot camera. It has only one shutter speed and apperture combination. I assume about f5.6 - 8 and 1/100 - 1/125sec. The lens is a wide 27mm. A usefull feature is the selector that gives the option not to use flash.
I put a roll of 100 ASA film and the photos were properly exposed in normal sunshine days.
The lens does not need focusing but I got sharp pictures from very close to around 20 meters. Distant objects are a bit out of focus.

with flash for fill in

Pionyr bakelite camera

The Pionyr is a bakelite camera made in Czechoslovakia in the 50s.
It has an Instant shutter speed (1/30sec?) and a B. Choice of 2 apertures. Takes 120 film. The lens barrel unscrews forward and must be turned to a position indicated by the symbols on the metal plate for correct focusing.

I will clean the shutter and test it later.

Altix NB from DDR

I found this viewfinder camera dripping in the rain and paid 5 euros. The shutter blades are not working. It has a light meter and interchangeable lenses. My camera has the famous for its bokeh Trioplan lens, with a focal length of 50mm and f2.8

I have put the Trioplan in front of the EOS and got some close up pictures - it won't focus at infinity with the EOS - but I am not impressed.

Moskva 5, difficult but trusty.

After WWII the Soviets took over the Zeiss plant in East Germany and started producing the Zeiss cameras under a different brand.  The Moskvas are copies of the Zeiss Super Ikonta cameras.

The Moskva 5 is a difficult camera. Very heavy but robust, with two tiny viewfinders, one for focusing and one for framing, and a shutter release button at the left side. It is perhaps better suited for left-handed photographers. The Industar lens is sharp and fast enough at f3.5 but very difficult to read the numbers and set the aperture/shutter speed.
The camera takes 9 6x9 pictures on 120 film, it also has a 6x6 capability with a mask that I do not have.
It is a big camera but when folded it fits into a coat pocket.
I put a roll of Reala 400 in the camera and I got 6 properly exposed photos, I then rephotographed the negatives.
