Minolta Freedom Family Zoom, a snapshot camera.

This is a fully automatic camera with a small zoom lens, a 35mm - 80mm. Aperture is not specified but it seems small around f5.6. There is auto focus and DX coding for auto ISO setting, therefore it is a camera for family snapshots in good light.
Flash is also automatic but it can be forced on by putting a finger on the lightmeter on the right of the viewfinder.

There are no controls other than the zoom lever.

I've put a Fuji 200 ASA film to test it. The lens is not very sharp and the camera seems it cannot focus in distant objects. The quality of the photos was low.

These were taken in bright sunshine. The camera overexposed these frames.

Indoors with auto flash and outdoors with forced flash on

Despite the small diaphragm all distant objects are out of focus.

More from the Qingdao-6 flash camera

The Qindao - 6 is an Agfa Optima clone made in China

The automatic exposure system is not working very well, I had some blank frames and some underexposed shots.

Here are some more from the first film

Kodak Brownie Flash II

This is another box camera from the Brownie series that Kodak made by millions. This one is a UK model.
It has one shutter speed + B and a single aperture. There is also a lens attachement for close portraits from 2 to 3 meters.

The camera takes 620 film. I loaded the camera with a piece of 35mm film rolled with the backing paper of a 120 film. The take up spool in the camera was from a 620 film, as it is thinner than the 120 one.
I had to mask the viewfinders also but the framing was not accurate.

Here are the results:
a distant shot of a restored Byzantine church and one with the portrait attachement.

I pressed the shutter 3-4 times for that

Framing was bad here, with the portrait attachement
 and here
 the framing here was good
