FED 2 soviet rangefinder

I bought this russian FED 2 for 10 euros at a stall. The russian seller sold it for parts.
It's one of the later FED 2 models, just before the introduction of the similar FED 3. It has the Industar 50mm/f2 lens on.
I repaired the rangefinder arm, fixed the lens and made the advance winder work. The film rewind knob is missing, but I think if I use the camera I will be able to retrieve the film with a tool.

Polaroid 3000AF Point and Shoot

The camera works but the shutter does not fire. Bought for 1 euro.
It offers a panoramic setting, two flash modes but no flash-off.
I'm too lazy to check it by now.

Pentax PC35AF with BW film

The camera ready for pictures

The separate motor drive is not working. I have to wind the film manualy.
I tried a Kodak Tmax 400 ASA with the Pentax PC35AF. The film is very contrasty and continuously blows out the sky.

Kiev 4am, my 3rd copy

I bought this Kiev 4AM mainly because it had the Helios 103 53mm/f1.8 lens.
It has no selenium meter, it's full manual. The camera is a later model and needs a twist of the bottom lever to roll back the film, instead of the usual bottom buttom.

There was film in it, a Konica 100 ASA and I finished it.

These are the photos:
I got some underexposed photos from the previous owner

these are mine

Fuji Instax 7s

The Fuji Instax 7s takes the Fuji Mini Instax instant film and delivers 10 prints in the size of a cradit card.
It is a very simple camera with a 60mm lens that looks like a wide angle 35mm focal length in the 35mm equivalent system. It has a depth of field from 60cm to Infinity.

It takes 4 AA batteries and is powered on by pulling out the lens. There is only a selection of exposures, (indoors, cloudy, sunny, very sunny). The flash is always on, and is nice for contre jour pictures. It seems to me that it overexposes at outdoors, so maybe a faster setting is required, for example set to sunny setting on a cloudy day and have the subject lit by the flash.

The exposed photo is  automaticaly popped out from the top of the camera and gets fully developed in some minutes.

Take care when framing close, the viewfinder shows less space than the one recorded on film.
My son's shoe was not intended to be in the picture...

Rollei Sportsline 62 operation review

I only used the Rollei Sportline 62 camera at the beach and underwater, so I thought it would be nice to test its capabilities for street shooting.
The camera has a fixed aperture of f2.8. Auto ISO setting tends to expose for ISO 50 or 100 and is not suitable for moving subjects. I selected ISO 400 and did not see any deterioration of the image quality. That said, image quality is not good at all. There is high contrast and over saturation but the pictures are just acceptable. Shutter lag is a big problem. You have to press the shutter well ahead before the shot. I usually press the shutter and the quickly compose the picture by turning my hand to the subject. Lastly, the camera is a battery drainer. Use only strong alkaline batteries and have a spare of 4-6pieces.

I used LR3 to edit the samples below.
