Altissa Periskop, for old time snapshots.
This is the Altissa Periskop, from the former DDR, a simple camera with limited functionality.
There are two shutter speeds 1/30 and B, and two apertures f/8 and f/16.
It is finaly a medium format snapshot shooter from the 50s that can take pictures only in good light.
Took some snapshots with this camera. At f/8 is a bit soft, better at f/16

Kodak Retina Ia, a small folder.
This is a small compact folder camera that takes 35mm film.
It has a Schneider Xenar 50mm f/3.5 lens. There is a large choice of shutter speeds, from 1/500th to 1sec plus B. The camera is fully manual and need a guess estimate for the subject distance.
My camera has a problem with the focus helicoid, it is stuck. I must find some time to repair it, but the repair seems difficult.

Votar Flex a basic TLR
I found this pseudo-TLR at the Sunday flea market. It does have two lenses but it does not need focusing, there is only one shutter speed, around 1/30 to 1/50 sec, plus B for night pictures. Only 3 apertures are available f8, 11, 16.
There was an 120 film in the camera which I processed. Only two photos were visible.
a lady in the balcony
an accidental double exposure
the rest of the film was dark or fogged, perhaps it was not exposed properly from the first owner.
I will put some film to test it later.

2nd try with the Canon ML
The Canon AF 35 ML has a 40mm lens with a fast aperture of f1.9, so it is suitable for night shots. This time I loaded the camera with a 400 ASA Kodak colour film
I did not like the results. The camera cannot focus near, all objects around 1 meter are out of focus. Flash gave me red eye pictures, and night street shots were underexposed.
I took some nice pictures in the street
and some underexposed at night
indoors was a bit better
