Bencini Comet 1st roll

First try with an expired Agfa 35mm film rolled into a 127 spool with backing paper from a 120 film. unfortunately I had marked the paper wrongly so I got many overlapping images. As the 35mm film is narrower than the 127 one the film did not stand flat on the film plane, so images on the center got blurred.

The camera with the viewfinder taped to make up for the 35mm format

Yashica MG-1

This is a newer and cheaper version of the Yashica Electro. It has a 45mm/f2.8 lens instead of the f1.7 lens mounted on the Electro, with no parallax correction in the viewfinder. However the lightmeter is near the front lens element thus permitting the use of filters with a direct light reading.
I think I paid 10 euros for this one. It needed no repairs, the "pad of death" problem of the Yashicas is not present here. I've stuffed 4 LR44 batteries with some aluminum foil into the battery compartement and the camera works like new.

Loaded a long expired Agfa 100XRG that needed a lot of PP work. The camera takes accurate and sharp images with a nice bokeh.
Some samples with a color shift from the film:

More from the Minolta Hi-matic F

More samples from the first roll shot with the Minolta Hi-matic F. Film was a Fujifilm 200 ASA.

Minolta Hi-matic F

This is a smaller and cheaper version of the famous Hi-matic E, marketed in 1972. It has an f2.7 38mm Rokkor lens that is smaller than the f1.7 Rokkor from Hi-matic E, thus it permitted the Minolta engineers to produce a smaller body.
The camera is excellent, small and lightweight, with an accurate lightmeter, a clear rangefinder and a very capable lens. The rangefinder permits accurate focusing of objects at 0.9m.
The camera needed 2 x 1.35V type 640 Mercury batteries that are discontinued. I' ve put 2 pieces of hearing aids batteries (zinc - air 1.4V) stuck with a lot of aluminum foil to fit into and now works fine.
My camera has a dented filter thread and engravings from the previous owner.

More from the Rollei Sportsline 62

More samples

and some pics with the macro setting:

Rollei Sportsline 62

This is a modern digital camera that is waterproof to 3 meters. I have not found much information about it and decided to put a description in the blog.
After my failed attempts with the yellow plastic underwater camera and the faulty Minolta weathermatic camera I bought a cheap digital camera.
The Rollei 62 has a fixed 35mm/f2.8 equivalent lens which is fast enough. There is a button that makes the lens suitable for macro from a distance of 11 to 18 cm. It also has two LCD screens, one in front the other on the back, that allow for self portraits. And of course is waterproof down to 3 meters.

Picture quality is not great but is fine for underwater shots.

Zenit E, 25th congress of USSR's communist party

Bought a Zenit E with the small Industar 50mm/f3.5 lens for 10 euros. I already have one but this camera celebrates the 25th congress of the Soviet Union's Communist Party.
