Yashica Electro 35 GSN

Yashica Electro 35 GSN. Bought from a street seller for 15 euros. I had to fabricate a new battery, made out of 4 LR pieces taped together with some foam to fit in the diameter of the camera's inlet and put some  stuffed aluminum foil to lengthen the pile to make contact. The shutter did fire after the electrics had been restored but the "pad of death" needed replacement. After a surgical operation I managed to glue a new pad into the camera without opening the lens assembly.

Put a test roll of Fujicolor 200 ASA. The f1.7 lens delivers sharp pics with a nice bokeh. I did find some light leaks and repaired the back cover later.

Pentax PC 35 AF

Pentax PC35AF point and shoot.
My sister's camera bought back in 1985. 35mm/2.8 lens focusing down to 70 cms. It's full functional but the motor winder is not working.
Found it in my mother's closet together with a Fuji film expired in 2004.
It takes very sharp pictures, needs a close inspection of the distance chosen by the AF, and the shutter has a very soft feeling.
