Halina 35-600, first test

The Halina 35-600 camera is an Olympus Trip clone. It has a 40mm f2.8 lens with zone focus but has an CDs metering cell that works with a 1,35V battery. The exposure system is automatic, the camera chooses aperture and shutter combination.

My camera can not work in auto mode as the battery compartment is faulty. However the camera is usable in flash mode, a single shutter speed (1/30 ?) is available and aperture is set with the lens ring. The shutter button needs a long and firm press that may lead to camera shake.

I loaded a 200 ASA film, here are some samples

I used a flash in these, it worked fine

The lens is sharp at small apertures, soft wide open, and the distance to subject must be measured accurately.
