Lomo LC-A, some more from the first film

The LC-A is a very compact camera and a joy to work with it.

My camera has some light leaks, I must fix it later..

Here are some more samples from the Kodak Colorplus 200ASA film.

At the closest distance, 0.8m 

At night you must press the shutter and wait until it clicks again when closing while the camera is steady!

Minolta Pocket Autopak 430 E

I found this old Minolta Pocket camera that takes 110 film.

 There are a few settings for this camera. On off lens cover, a lever for portrait/group/lanscape focus setting, and bright light/flash. The flash comes off a bit on the side. Aperture and shutter seem fixed at f5.6 and 1/200th second. The camera takes one AA battery, if light is not enough a red led indicates that flash must be used.

I must find a 110 film to test it...

Altix Nb, fixed

After I fixed the lens focussing problem I put a film and started shooting

 The selenium light meter is not working, I exposed using the sunny 16 rule.

Film was a Kodak Colorplus 200 ASA

I used the separate shutter lever for double exposures

 at close distance

 and the f2.8 aperture for the famous bokeh

 not bad stopped down

Lomo LC-A, compact and fast

This is a small compact Soviet camera. It has a 32mm lens, that is wide at f2.8, and an automatic exposure with a lever set to A. If the lever is set to other apertures it defaults to flash or manual exposure.

 

 There is a another lever to the left that selects the distance, 0.8, 1.5, 3 meters and infinity. Very simple! The automatic exposure system is very accurate and can easily take night pictures with the shutter open for some minutes! but there is no provision for an extension cord.

 

 I took some pictures with a roll of kodak Colorplus 200, it proved that there is a light leak somewhere I must take care of.. Pictures are looking normal to me, I see no Lomo effect, other than the light leak.
