The Altix is an interchangeable lens camera of the 50s. Made in former DDR is a capable manual camera, but only has zone focus, not a rangefinder. The NB model has also a selenium cell lightmeter, but after so many years the Selenium failed.
The lens is a Trioplan 50mm/f2.9, famous for its bokeh.
The camera and lens were dismounted and cleaned. Unforntunately, as I found out from the photos, the lens was mounted the correct way but the focusing proved faulty. I now dismantled the lens again and turned the aperture ring upside down, it seems to focus correctly now, I have yet to try it.
