Konica EEmatic

I bought this camera together with some other ones from an antique shop. Its share must be around 8-10 euros.
This is a rangefinder auto exposure camera, the first of the EE Matic series produced in 1963.
The lens is a 40mm f2.8 Konishiruko Hexanon with a selenium meter that seems non working. It has an automatic shutter with speed range from 1/30 to 1/250.
The focus range is from 0.9m to infinity. ISO range is from 10 ASA to 200 ASA.

I cleaned the camera and fixed the lens from the film chamber, now the rangefinder works better, but
in auto mode a green dot turns to red in the viewfinder window. Seems like the meter is not working,  I will have to check it.
There are aperture settings for use with flash, in flash mode there is a fixed speed of 1/60 and the shutter fires normaly.

More B/W with the Vivitar PN2011

Some more samples with the BW 400 film, the lab processed the film and the result was high contrasty and grainy

Vivitar PN2011 plastic camera

I gave 1 euro and bought this camera from a stall. This is an all plastic camera. There are no Vivitar parkings on the camera, perhaps it was a promotional gift. It is very light, somewhat big but it is easily holdable in the palm.
There is a panoramic setting that crops the 135mm film and makes the picture look wider.
The lens is a plastic 28mm wide angle.
There is only one combination of aperture and speed f8 and 1/125sec.

The camera needs good light, there was an expired 100 ASA film in it that proved underexposed.
I scanned and cropped the pictures to simulate the panoramic setting of the camera.

 One mine

I loaded the camera with a 400 ASA Black and White film. There was some overexposure in bright sunlit scenes and ok in the shade. Next time I will try a 200 ASA film, I think it's better in sunny conditions and in open shade.
The 28mm lens permits taking photographs with the camera at waist lever from very close distances. The 1/125s speed is adequate for steady shots, the lens is soft but no complains this is only a cheap plastic camera.

Olympus Mju II (stylus Epic) in the street

The Mju II is a very small camera and used it for street shooting.

Olympus Mju II (or Stylus Epic)

A fine little camera. Bought it at the street for 7 euros.
It has an excellent 35mm/f2.8 lens and takes very sharp pictures. The camera is fully automatic, with a two zone autofocus system that sometimes, when the subject is not close to centre, misses focus.

     missed focus in this

Eho mini box camera

This is a mini box camera made in Germany in the 30s.
It has a Duplar f11 lens, with two apertures f11 and f16, one shutter speed (1/30s ?) plus Bulb.
There are two tiny viewfinders for waist level shooting plus a wired frame for aiming on eye level.
Takes 120 film and makes 16 exposures 4.5x6cm.
I have put a Fuji Reala 100 ASA film in it.

Mercury - Imperial Satellite

This is a simple point and shoot camera that was a promotional offer for Mercury cars buyers.
Takes 127 film and has a single aperture and a single shutter speed.
I think I paid 5 euros in the Sunday Flea Market.
